We gather in the church building to share testimony of where we have noticed God at work in our world and lives. As an evangelical church we value the scriptures and preaching and try to make sense of the Bible in our lives and in today’s world.
Our main Sunday morning service at 10.45am provides for all ages, and is supported by a choir and organist. Our style might be described as warm and slightly formal. We sing and praise God using traditional hymns, contemporary songs, and increasingly songs that reflect the multicultural traditions from which our community comes. We have children's work for primary school aged children where they get to go to their own group.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month we share bread and wine in a service of Holy Communion where we connect the brokenness of our lives with the brokenness of Christ.
Our evening service at 6:30pm is a small, quieter and more formal service which enables times for reflection and quiet reverence, Holy Communion is shared on the first and third Sundays of the month.
All our services are followed by tea and coffee in the lounge, so we have a chance to meet and encourage each other. If you are new, this is the perfect time to introduce yourself – so why not talk to someone who has been involved in the service?
